The shadowed heart remains, The shadowed heart is in pain, No longer able to feel, As they have been striped away, The once known light that was given, Is slowly fading in the rain, We all know it hurts to be driven away, For we all have had that kind of pain, Ups and down's come and go, Making you want to roam, Deeper and deeper into your shadowed heart, As you start to be consumed by the dark, But we all still have our light, Though it is not much, It can get us through the shadowed light, That surrounds us all.

Into the darkness we roam,   Feeling as if we lost our home, The love and hope of tomorrow, All replaced by pain and sorrow, Like a stab wound to the heart, It drags us further into the dark, Making us feel like we lost our part, For everything we had gained, Has been taken away by all the pain, Into the darkened room we have gone, Destroying every one of our bonds, Letting the pain swallow us into darkened songs, As these songs bring us into a weakened state, We start to wonder if this is our fate, To be consumed by all the darkness in our lives, Even this pain of ours seems to rhyme, Into the darkened room we roam, It makes us want to be a
